The Conference of the Constitutional Jurisdictions of Portuguese Speaking Countries is an initiative of the Courts of Portuguese Speaking Countries that, taking into account the deep historical links between people who have a common language, aims to joint representation of Speaking Portuguese countries in international forums, in addition to the consolidation and intensification of cooperation mechanisms and exchange of experience concerning the control of constitutionality.
It began appearing in November 2008 through the joint statement of interest to form such an association, and has existed officially since May 2010, when occurred the first Assembly. In the meantime, the Supreme Court of Brazil has created a repository of Decisions on its website to concentrate and disseminate the decisions of the courts involved. (portuguese only)
