I Exchange Program for Judges

On 01/03/2010, the Supreme Court, supported by the Protocol of Intent signed between the Supreme Courts of the Forum BRIC - Brazil, Russia, India and China, opened the I Exchange Program for Magistrates.

The schedule of activities was prepared by the National School for Development and Improvement of Magistrates (ENFAM) with the aim of presenting to judges the composition and functioning of Brazilian judicial system and allowing visitors to share experiences of their countries regarding the organization of the judiciary and contemporary issues such as independence and reform of the judiciary.

Six Russian judges, five Chinese and, from India, the Director of the National Judicial Academy have participated in the activities of the first edition with five Brazilian judges. Its activities were extended for 12 days, from March 1st to March 12th, 2010.
