The Brazilian Federal Supreme Court's Chief Justice attended to the Superior Electoral Court to follow the elections result and emphasized the importance of respect and loyalty to the Constitution

The Chief Justice of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF), Justice Dias Toffoli, accompanied the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) in the count of votes for President of the Republic. At 19:18, candidate Jair Bolsonaro was considered mathematically elected, when 94.44% of the sections were cleared. Shortly thereafter, Justice Toffoli attended the press conference with the head of the TSE, Justice Rosa Weber, and congratulated the entire Electoral Court for fulfilling its role as guardian of Brazilian democracy, in spite of all "liar and unjust attacks" that they suffered during the entire electoral process.

Chief Justice Toffoli thanked the Brazilian people, "the great protagonist of these elections," and said that the nation, although divided by a strongly polarized election, quietly attended the polls to renew democracy.
