Judiciary and Public Prosecution Service set up an observatory to monitor the performance of justice in high-impact disasters

The head of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ), Chief Justice Dias Toffoli, and the Attorney General of the Republic and president of the National Council of the Public Prosecution (CNMP), Raquel Dodge, signed this Thursday (31) a joint ordinance establishing the National Observatory on Environmental, Economic and Social Issues of High Complexity and Great Impact and Repercussion. The objective is to monitor cases that require an urgent response from the national justice system so that the solution is swift and appropriate to the needs of victims and society.
