The head of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) and National Council of Justice (CNJ), Chief Justice Dias Toffoli, will make an official visit to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem the week of June 17 to 21 at the invitation of the Government of Israel. The official appointments include a meeting with Israel Supreme Court's Chief Justice Esther Hayut and Ministry of Justice's officials, as well as contacts in the area of prison system, artificial intelligence and cyber security.

"The program aims to deepen the knowledge about technological resources that can further enhance the reliability and security of electronic judicial processes in Brazil, using artificial intelligence tools," explained the STF Presidency's international advisor, Joel Sampaio. According to him, the sharing of good practices in the technological field is a priority point of Justice Dias Toffoli's trip.

Another objective of the visit is to know the management models of the Israeli prison system that can help the development of CNJ projects in Brazil.
