The investments made by the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) in artificial intelligence corroborate the directives of Chief Justice Dias Toffoli's management to speed up the judgment of the cases, resulting in greater efficiency, economy and rationality for the Court's actions in society.
For the realization of the paper-bit migration, the STF signed a convenant alongside the association of people with disabilities to digitize more than 90 million pages, enabling better archival and document management of the STF's collection.
The Court has also broadened the categories of cases that can be tried online, with measures for transparency and publicity. The conclusions of the Justices' votes can now be followed in real time over the Internet, by virtue of a rule approved in June, which provides for the automatic availability on the Supreme Court's website of the summary of judgments by the Virtual Plenary.
