The April 15 and 16 will go down in the history of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) by holding the first plenary sessions entirely by videoconference. The convening was signed on Monday (30) by the Chief Justice, Justice Dias Toffoli, in compliance with Resolution No. 672 which seeks to reduce the circulation of people in the court as a measure to prevent the new coronavirus.
To make the new trial modality viable, a tool was made available to the Justices that will allow the transmission of video by the magistrates' computers. The Court will also guarantee participation in the sessions by videoconference to the Attorney General of the Republic.
